Virtual TourFirst, I'd like to start with the staff at this hotel. All staff were professional, friendly, accommodating, and prompt. This is my third time staying at this hotel, and I received the same warm welcome each time I visited. The hotel is conveniently located one block from the beach, is directly across from the zoo, and is surrounded with beach, dining, drink, and entertainment options. My room was modern, clean, and most importantly - comfortable. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
What a wonderful gem of a hotel. Walking distance to the beach, walking distance if everything in fact. Great view of Diamond Head (and partial ocean) from our room. Hotel was clean, staff super friendly and accommodating. Use of beach chairs to take to the beach. Walked Diamond Head in the morning. A slice of paradise and we'll definitely find our way back to Queen Kapiolani next time we're in Oahu.
Can't recommend Queen Kapiolani hotel enough. It's location can't be beat - unobstructed views of Diamond Head, overlooking he greenery of Kapiolani Park and the zoo, and a less than 5 min walk to the beach! Knots coffee in the lobby has the best coffee, you can rent surfboards at the surf shop, and eat with gorgeous views (or get room service) from the 3rd floor restaurant. Beds are so comfy and the retro-waikiki vibe is so cute and unique from the many generic big brand hotels in Waikiki. Plus-the staff is outstanding. We were greeted with leis and complimentary drinks at check in which is so nice after a long day of travel. Housekeeping is so genuinely friendly and attentive. Even the valet staff gave us great tips on hiking Diamond Head and Koko Crater. We will definitely stay again!! Mahalo for the incredible stay Queen Kapiolani!!
